Boys, Boys, Boys!!

Boys, boys, and more boys!! This is my life these days and I would not trade it for anything.  Time is flying by. Owen will be 2 years old in about a month and Finn will be 6 months next Tuesday.  We are ready for spring, definitely experiencing some cabin fever.

The boys were matching for about 15 minutes until Finn had a blow out!

Finn 3 months old, already looking so different from this picture

Cat in the Hat morning, Owen wanted them wearing hats and shoes at 6 am to watch the movie and jump on the couch just like the Cat does. Our mornings are exciting these days!

There is barely a moment when Finn is not smiling, one of the happiest babies ever! It is a contagious smile

Christmas Joy!

This Christmas was so much fun with a new baby to enjoy the holiday season with and a fun toddler that took in everything and seeing his smile and his eyes light up was the best thing ever!

Owen and I had fun decorating cut outs. I am not sure whether anyone would want to eat his end product, but it was a good first try. Next year they will be even better. Owen mainly just wanted to eat the frosting from the plate instead of decorating the cookies

Andrea and I took a day with our mom to bake Italian cookies. It was alot of fun to learn how to make our traditional cookies that for so long my mom has done on her own. Hopefully next year Lynn can join in the fun.  Owen and Finn mainly just observed the cookie baking and Finn just smiled at the girls
2 peas in a pod. They look like they will be trouble in no time at all!

Uncle Nick's hat, the only one we have gotten Owen to wear. He is stylin'

Owen's expression as he looked at the Macy's Christmas windows. The look of awe and amazement, this is what the Christmas spirit is all about
Enjoying their new couch that their Aunt Erin got them for Christmas

Finn is chillin in his old man hat!
Christmas Eve at Great Nona and Papa's house. Our annual tradition to go there after mass. Owen was quite the ham that night, dancing like crazy and running around. It did not help that Uncle Nick was egging him on.

My little Santa Claus! Just last year Owen wore this hat.
Owen and Finn's new sled from Grandma and Papa

All the boys on Christmas day

Our first trip to the Shedd Aquarium. About all Owen said was "Wow" and "Ohhh". He was loving every moment

Holiday Magic!

This blog is difficult to keep up now with 2 kids, being back to work and busy with holiday festivities! We have had a lot happen since the last time I posted. I am back to work, which is going pretty good. Our wonderful babysitter, April, is coming into our house which makes everything 100 times easier! Finn  got baptized and will be 3 months this coming Wednesday. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving visiting both sides of the family. We had our 2nd annual cutting of our Christmas tree with the boys on a cold wintery day.  And now we are settling in to our home with the winter coming fast upon us and enjoying the Christmas decorations, shopping, wrapping of gifts, and cooking baking.  I love the smell of the house at this time of year with the delicious cookies and the smell of the tree.

Finn with his godparents, Aunt Andrea and Uncle Nick!
 My little turkeys!
5th Annual Turkey Trot! Owen's first experience.

We brought Owen to the Discovery Museum in Rockford and he loved the Tot Spot. Hopefully we will get back soon. He could have stayed there all day and played.
No surprise that he especially liked the train. It was amazing that he actually wore a hat. I guess we may need to buy him a Train Conductor's hat to wear on cold days.

Annual Christmas Tree hunt.  This year's tree was a little on the small side, but still looks great.

Back in November we spotted a buck in our neighbor's yard behind us. We could not believe our eyes at how large it was in the middle of a neighborhood.
Owen loves cleaning toilets thanks to Grandma Bogdonas for introducing him to it. Now I know that I can put him to work cleaning for me.
A few old pictures from Halloween. Owen was a construction worker but did not want to wear his hard hat or tool belt. He definitely enjoyed the candy though! We was on a sugar high until he hit a wall at about 6:30 and passed out for the night.
