Week 30 & 31

Week 31- 9 more to go! It is going so fast, I just can't believe that January is coming to an end. I am so happy that we are one month closer to spring and the birth of our baby! This coming Saturday we have our all-day prenatal class and tour of the hospital. I am looking forward to getting that done with, not so sure about Ryan! I am also taking a class on Thursday night about breastfeeding and they would like you to bring your husband or a support person along. Well, Ryan just began a basketball group on Thursday nights and he said there is no way that he can tell the group of guys that he can't come because he has to go to a breastfeeding class! I guess that I don't blame him. I may try to see if my friend (our future babysitter) would like to come along since she will be having a baby in July and wants to breastfeed also. Then she can be my support person.

Last night we were at Ryan's cousin's daughter, Victoria's birthday. Ryan's godson, Josh, said that he thinks we are having a boy. Also, Ryan's mom had a vivid dream that I went into labor at midnight and had the baby at 1:50, and it was a boy weighing 8 lb 19oz and named Michael John. So maybe between her dream and the knowledge of a 4-year old and the Chinese Birthing Chart we will have a boy- only a few more weeks until we find out!

Here are pictures from Week 31: (Sorry, I kind of blended in with the fireplace)

Here is a picture from Week 30. This was after the Packers won and are heading to the Super Bowl! One more week of my Packer Maternity shirt. I have gotten good use out of it. This was taken by the new crib that is awaiting the baby! All we need is a mattress and then we are set. The room is slowly coming together.

Week 29

Week 29!

So when Ryan took the picture this week, he said "whoa!" When I asked him what was wrong he said that I was pretty large! What a loving husband. You may be wondering if I did not change out of the clothes from last week because it is the same shirt. However, I did but it is another playoff Packer game so I am decked out in my Packer shirt to cheer them on tonight! This past week has been marked by a lot of movement of the baby. I was in a meeting the other day and everyone could sit the baby moving across my stomach. It is pretty crazy. We now have the crib and changing table set up. I am beginning to think about the fun details, like wall decorations, etc. I was just thinking today that I can not wait until the day when I am no longer posting pictures of myself on here, but instead pictures of the baby!

Week 28 Bump!

Sporting my Packer Shirt, Go Packers!

It is week 28 and I am officially in my third trimester! I can't believe only 3 months left. Ryan and I have begun preparations for the little one. He especially is working hard, moving furniture by himself, touching up some paint, and other things for the nursery. However, despite what he says, I think he actually enjoys the work. We picked up the crib and dresser this week, so next we will be busy putting that together. It is getting very exciting and coming so fast. Tomorrow I have my 7 month check up and then I start going every 2 weeks. I remember in the beginning when the doctor told me the time line that seemed so far off and now it is here.

I have been feeling and seeing the baby move so much in the past week. I will be sitting in meetings and all of a sudden I see the baby move across my stomach, it is the craziest thing! I am still feeling pretty good and still running, although my pace has slowed down to that of a snail, but I still feel good! I even took a few spinning classes in the past few weeks with an instructor who is also 7 months pregnant. Surprisingly it was not uncomfortable, just frustrating because I had to watch my heart rate and not push it too much. The baby was probably wondering what was going on with me moving up and down and really loud music. I am sure that I was a sight to see for the others in the class.

New Year's Eve Photos

Happy New Year 2011

Below are some New Year's Eve pictures that I had forgot to post. We were in Rockford for the night and had a delicious dinner by chef "Michael" (aka Andrea's boyfriend). We were all pretty stuffed and content after dinner. Some were very happy on spirits also!

The Guys were busy in the kitchen making chicken rubs
Michael's killer Homemade Macaroni and Cheese! The baby enjoyed this!

Supposedly these glass are called "BCG's" Birth Control Glasses, because they do not let anything in or out. Well I guess we were a little too late wearing them! My brother Nick was given these glasses by some older guys in one of his classes.
