Owen is 2 Months Old!

Owen is 2 Months Old today. My little man is not so little anymore. On Tuesday we went for his 2-month appointment and he weighed just short of 13 lbs, between the 90-95th percentile and 22 1/2 inches long! The doctor said he is doing great and he is very strong! You should see him during tummy time. A big first- Owen rolled over from his stomach to back 2 times on Monday! I was not expecting that yet. He also has had some great sleeping this week from 8-3 or 4 every night! Ryan and I are feeling brand new!

Owen was sporting Uncle Nick's Bulls outfit, but I do not think it was good luck this time for the team.

Owen was happy though! He is starting to share many smile, I love it!

Grateful Dead Baby

Owen is 8 weeks old today. He is quite the smiler now also. Here are some pictures from the past week. As you can see below he is becoming a big boy! He loves to sleep in his swing in the picture below. He looks like quite the angel in the swing.

Here is Owen's Grateful Dead onesie that Aunt Lynn and Drew got him. He is a Cali baby! Ryan dressed him this morning and this is the outfit he picked out: Grateful Dead onesie and his Adidas booties.

This past week we were at Grandma and Grandpa Bogdonas' house. We have Owen a bath and he was hilarious. He was literally pushing up with his legs from the bottom of the sink like he was trying to stand. He was very strong and we could barely hold on to him because he was moving all over. He was loving it. I think when he does start crawling and walking that Ryan and I are going to be in trouble because already at 2 months he is quite the mover with his legs, arms and head!

Mother's Day, Gardening, and Owen, Oh My!

A lot has happened since I last posted:

-Owen gave us his first smile on Mother's Day! Unfortunately we were not able to get a picture, and then he gave us another smile at 3 in the morning the other night when we were changing his diaper.

-We got our garden ready and added an additional raised bed

-Owen has changed so much and is looking so different. Only a week and a half and he is 2 months old

-Owen slept from 8 pm to 3 am a few nights ago, unfortunately that has not become consistent yet

Owen is 1 Month Old!

Owen is 1-Month Old as of last Tuesday. Alot has happened in the past week. Owen has gone on many adventures to the mall, Einstein Bagel, Target, Marshalls, his first trip to Rockford and his first race (walk) where we did 4.6 miles. And he slept everywhere we went! He is such a good baby. He also watched the Royal Wedding with my mom and I. Owen got up at 2:15 that morning and he must have known that I wanted to watch the wedding because he stayed up until 4:30 that morning. My mom was in staying with us and I woke her up and we were hooked to the tv watching the entire ceremony and everything before and after. It was alot of fun!

Also, (knock on wood) for almost the past week now he has been sleeping 5 hours straight at night. Hopefully that continues and increases as time goes by.

At his 1 month appointment last Friday he weighed a whopping 10 lb 6.5 oz and 21 and 3 quarters inches. He is growing and changing every day. Here our some updated pictures of our little man!

On our trip to Rockford his favorite thing to do was fall asleep on the couch with his aunts and uncle and be lazy in front of the tv!

Owen is 1-month old!

Owen had a big mess in his diaper and on Aunt Andrea so we gave him a bath. This was such a cute picture of him relaxing in his towel after he was all cleaned up.

A family friend, Gianna, was holding the cutest baby she said. She is 5 years old and a little peanut. Owen looked gigantic when she was holding him.
A family friend, Sarah, that I grew up with. Now we both have kids who will grow up together. Madeline is almost 6 months old and she was really looking at Owen and I. Can't wait until they get a little bigger!
